Walking
If you are starting from Parque Caldas, exit the park and head towards Calle 5. Walk along Calle 5 heading east. Continue straight for about 5 blocks until you reach the intersection with Calle 5a. The Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption will be on your left at Cl. 5a, Centro, Popayán.

If you are near the Popayán Market (Plaza de Mercado), exit the market and head towards Calle 6. Turn right onto Calle 6 and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 4. Turn left onto Avenida 4 and continue straight for about 4 blocks. Turn right onto Calle 5a, and you will find the Cathedral Basilica on your right.

From the main bus terminal (Terminal de Transporte), exit the terminal and head towards Avenida 4. Take a bus or walk towards Centro (downtown). Once you reach Avenida 4, walk straight until you reach Calle 5a. Turn left onto Calle 5a and the Cathedral will be on your left.

If you are near the bus terminal, you can take a local bus heading towards Centro. Get off at the stop near Parque Caldas. From there, walk east along Calle 5 for about 5 blocks until you reach Calle 5a. The Cathedral Basilica will be on your left.
