Getting there

Public Transport

To reach Lake La Pradera via public transport from Pereira, take a bus from the main bus terminal (Terminal de Transporte) heading to Dosquebradas. Buses with signs for 'Dosquebradas' or 'Lago La Pradera' are ideal. The bus fare is approximately 2,000 COP, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at the Dosquebradas bus terminal, you can take a local bus or a 'moto-taxi' to Cra. 24 #25-19, specifying 'Lago La Pradera' to the driver. A moto-taxi should cost around 10,000 COP.

Walking

From the Dosquebradas bus terminal, it is approximately a 20-minute walk to Lake La Pradera. Head towards Cra. 24 and follow it for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Lake La Pradera at Cra. 24 #25-19. Ask locals for directions if needed.

Car

If driving from Pereira, head north on Avenida Sur until you reach the intersection with Calle 26. Turn right onto Calle 26 and follow it to the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Autopista del Café (Route 40) towards Dosquebradas. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you see signs for Dosquebradas. Take the exit onto Cra. 24 and follow it for 1.5 kilometers. Lake La Pradera will be on your left at Cra. 24 #25-19. Parking is available near the lake.
