Getting There

• Walking

  Dean's Aspen Tours meet directly across from the corner of the Wheeler Opera House on the brick pedestrian walking mall in downtown Aspen. If you are anywhere in the downtown core, reaching the meeting point is easily done by walking. From Rubey Park, the main bus terminal, walk east along Durant Avenue, then turn left onto Galena Street. Walk one block north, then turn right onto Hyman Avenue. The Wheeler Opera House will be on your left. The tour meeting point is across the street. Cost: Free

• Public Transport

  Aspen's public transportation system, RFTA, provides free bus service within Aspen and to Snowmass Village. From Aspen Pitkin County Airport, take the free bus to Rubey Park in downtown Aspen. From Rubey Park, walk east along Durant Avenue, then turn left onto Galena Street. Walk one block north, then turn right onto Hyman Avenue. The Wheeler Opera House will be on your left. The tour meeting point is across the street. Cost: Free within Aspen and Snowmass.

• Taxi/Ride-Share

  Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available in Aspen. From Aspen Pitkin County Airport, a taxi or ride-share to Dean's Aspen Tours meeting point at 320 E Hyman Ave will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Cost: Taxi fares in Aspen start at approximately $4.30, with an additional $1.90 per kilometer. A 5km ride would cost about $13.80. Ride-sharing prices may vary.
