    From downtown Aspen, head northeast on Smuggler Mountain Road. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and takes around 30 minutes. Follow the road uphill; the mine entrance will be on your left.

    Public Transport

    Take the RFTA bus from Rubey Park in downtown Aspen to the Centennial stop. From there, it's a short walk up Smuggler Mountain Road to the mine entrance. The bus is free within Aspen. Check the RFTA website or app for schedules.
