The Warner Point Nature Trail, located on the South Rim of Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, is an easy 1.6-mile roundtrip hike to panoramic views of the canyon, surrounding mountains, and the Gunnison River. Named after Mark Warner, a key figure in the canyon's preservation, this interpretive trail offers insights into the area's ecosystem, terrain, and history.

Driving
To reach the Warner Point Nature Trail, drive to the South Rim of Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. From the South Rim Visitor Center, continue along South Rim Road for approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) to High Point, located at the very end of the road. The Warner Point Nature Trailhead is located at the High Point parking area. Note that there is a $30 per vehicle entrance fee to access Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Alternatively, an annual pass can be purchased for $55, or the America the Beautiful Pass is accepted.

From the High Point parking lot, the Warner Point Nature Trailhead is clearly marked. The trail begins at the far end of the parking lot and follows a well-maintained path to Warner Point.
