Getting There

  • Public Bus

    If you're starting from downtown Colorado Springs, head to the nearest bus stop on Cascade Avenue. Take the Mountain Metro Transit Route 1 towards the 'Mesa' stop. Transfer to Route 3 at the 'Mesa & 30th' stop, which will take you directly to the '30th & Gateway' stop. From there, it's a short walk (about 0.3 miles) west on Gateway Road, then north on 30th Street to reach the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center located at 1805 N 30th St.

  • Bicycle

    For those who prefer biking, start at the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum located in downtown. Ride west on Kiowa Street, then turn left on Cascade Avenue which becomes 30th Street as you head out of downtown. Follow 30th Street north until you reach the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center. The total distance is about 3 miles and should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.

    If you're within walking distance, head to the nearest major landmark, such as the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum. From there, walk west on Kiowa Street, turn left onto Cascade Avenue, which will eventually lead to 30th Street. Continue on 30th Street north until you arrive at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center, which will be on your left at 1805 N 30th St. The walk is approximately 3 miles and should take about an hour.
