    The Food & Wine Classic primarily takes place in Wagner Park and surrounding hotels in downtown Aspen. If you are already in the downtown area, walking is the most convenient way to reach the venues. Be prepared for some walking between events, so wear comfortable shoes. From Rubey Park, the main bus terminal, it is a short walk to Wagner Park.

    Aspen offers free public transportation within the city limits. The Roaring Fork Transit Authority (RFTA) provides bus service to Aspen from surrounding towns. If you are arriving from Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE), RFTA provides free bus service into Aspen and Snowmass. From the Rubey Park bus terminal in downtown Aspen, the festival venues are within easy walking distance. There is no cost for the bus within Aspen.

  • Taxi/Ride-sharing

    Taxis and ride-sharing services are available in Aspen. From Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE), taxis, limousines, and hotel shuttles can be found outside Baggage Claim. Ride-sharing services can be met on the front drive. A taxi or ride-share from the airport to downtown Aspen will cost approximately $20-$30. Keep in mind that prices may surge during peak hours or high-demand events.

  • Driving

    If driving to the Food & Wine Classic, be aware that parking in downtown Aspen can be limited, especially during the event. The Rio Grande Parking Plaza, located one block off Main Street, offers covered parking for $2 for 0-1 hours, $4 for 1-2 hours, $6 for 2-3 hours, and a daily maximum of $12. Parking is free from 5 pm to 5 am, on Sundays, and on holidays. Metered street parking is also available, but spots can be difficult to find. Residential zones offer 2-hour free parking, with full-day passes available for $8 via the PayByPhone app.

The Grand Tasting Pavilion, located in Wagner Park, is the centerpiece of the weekend, offering samples from over 200 brands.
