The Museum of Illusions is located on the 16th Street Mall, which is easily accessible by public transportation. Take the RTD Free MallRide, which runs the length of the 16th Street Mall, and get off at the stop closest to 951 16th Street Mall. The MallRide is free and operates frequently throughout the day. Alternatively, you can take the light rail and exit at the 16th and California or 16th and Stout station, which is a short walk to the museum. A single ride on the light rail costs $3.

The Museum of Illusions is located in the heart of downtown Denver on the 16th Street Mall, making it easily accessible by foot from many nearby hotels, attractions, and transport hubs. From Union Station, walk southeast on 16th Street Mall for about 1 mile. The museum will be on your right at 951 16th Street Mall. Walking from Union Station will take approximately 20 minutes. Be aware that the 16th Street Mall is currently undergoing renovations, with detours to 15th and 17th street.

If driving, several parking garages are available near the Museum of Illusions. The closest parking garages include the 16th Street Center Parking Garage (accessible from Champa St.) and the Independence Plaza Garage (accessible from Curtis St.). Parking rates typically range from $23 for the whole day. Metered street parking is also available, but it can be limited, especially on weekends.
