Discover more about Prost Brewing Company

Prost Brewing Company, located in Denver's Lower Highland (LoHi) neighborhood, offers a unique and authentic German brewing experience. Founded in August 2012, Prost fills a niche by specializing in German-style biers, brewed with German equipment and adhering to the German Purity Laws (Reinheitsgebot). The brewery's name, "Prost," is a German word meaning "To your health," or "cheers". The brewery uses a copper brewhouse that was originally built in 1963 by Ziemann GmbH and installed at the Bucher Bräu in Grafenau, Germany. In 1984, it was moved to Brauerei Hummer in Breitengüßbach, where it was used until 2011. Prost Brewing Company then purchased the equipment and brought it to Denver. Prost offers a variety of German-style beers, including Pils, Dunkel, Kölsch, and Hefeweizen. They also offer seasonal biers like Märzen for Oktoberfest. The taproom provides a traditional biergarten atmosphere where patrons can enjoy fresh pours. Tony P's, a local Italian restaurant, delivers to Prost, and patrons can bring their own food. In addition to the Denver location, Prost has a brewery headquarters and biergarten in Northglenn, a tap room in Fort Collins, and a biergarten in Highlands Ranch.
