    From downtown Durango, start at the Durango Welcome Center at 802 Main Ave. Walk north on Main Avenue past 37th Street. Make a slight right onto Animas View Drive. Continue for approximately half a mile; the entrance will be on the right. Note that there is no on-site parking. This walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.

    From the Durango Transit Center at 250 W 8th Street, take Route 2 towards the Animas Valley. Disembark at the stop closest to the intersection of Animas View Drive and East 32nd Street. From there, walk along Animas View Drive for about 0.5 miles to Oxbow Park and Preserve at 500 Animas View Dr. A one-way bus fare is $1. Seniors (60+) and people with disabilities are $0.50/trip. Exact change is required on board. DuranGo! Outside, a microtransit service, provides curb-to-curb service between any location in City limits and Oxbow Park for $2 per ride.
