Getting There

Start at the Estes Park Visitor Center located at 500 Big Thompson Ave, Estes Park, CO 80517. From the Visitor Center, head south on Big Thompson Ave towards the intersection with US-36. Once you reach US-36, turn right (west) and walk along the highway. Continue on US-36 for about 1.5 miles until you reach the junction with CO-7. Here, you will see signs for Peak to Peak Scenic Byway. At this junction, cross the road to the left side where CO-7 begins. You can now follow CO-7, which will take you directly into the scenic byway. The views along this route are stunning, and you will eventually reach the scenic overlook areas.
