From Estes Park, drive west on Highway 36 to the Rocky Mountain National Park's Beaver Meadows Entrance. After entering the park, turn left onto Bear Lake Road. Continue for approximately 5.8 miles and turn left onto Sprague Lake Road. The Sprague Lake parking area is a short drive down Sprague Lake Road. Park entrance fees are required; a daily pass costs $30 per vehicle, or free with a recreation pass. During peak season, a timed entry permit may also be required.
