Getting There

    The James M. Robb - Colorado River State Park is comprised of five sections spread along Interstate 70 and Highway 6 & 50. To reach the Fruita section, take Exit 19 from I-70 and head south. For Island Acres, use Exit 47 from I-70. Corn Lake is near Clifton, with access from Highway 6 & 50. Connected Lakes and the Colorado River Wildlife Area are near Grand Junction, also accessible from Highway 6 & 50. A daily vehicle pass costs $10-$12.

    The Colorado Riverfront Trail System connects the park's sections, offering a scenic biking route. From Grand Junction, follow the trail west towards Fruita or east towards Palisade to access the various sections. Remember to bring water and be prepared for varying trail conditions. A daily park pass is required, costing $4 if entering by bike.
