Start from downtown Grand Junction, near the Grand Junction Visitor Center located at 740 Horizon Dr, Grand Junction, CO 81506. Head east on Horizon Drive for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with North Avenue. Cross North Avenue and continue straight on Horizon Drive for another 1 mile. You'll pass various shops and eateries along the way. After 1 mile, turn left onto 30 Road. Follow 30 Road for about 2 miles until you reach the entrance to the Colorado National Monument. Enter the park and follow the signs for Rim Rock Drive, which is the main road through the monument. Continue on Rim Rock Drive for about 5 miles until you reach Red Canyon Overlook. The overlook will be on your right side, and there will be a designated parking area.

Begin your journey from downtown Grand Junction. Rent a bike from a local rental shop, if needed. Start cycling east on the Riverfront Trail, which runs along the Colorado River. Continue on the trail for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Horizon Drive. Turn left onto Horizon Drive and cycle for approximately 1 mile until you reach the intersection with North Avenue. Cross North Avenue and continue straight on Horizon Drive for another 1 mile. After this, turn left onto 30 Road. Follow 30 Road for about 2 miles to the entrance of the Colorado National Monument. Once inside, take Rim Rock Drive for approximately 5 miles until you reach Red Canyon Overlook. The overlook will be on your right, with a parking area available for you to secure your bike.
