Start at downtown Grand Junction. Head east on Colorado Ave until you reach 5th St. Turn left onto 5th St and continue north until you reach the intersection with North Ave. Turn right onto North Ave, which will become Broadway. Follow Broadway as it curves into Monument Rd. Continue on Monument Rd until you reach the entrance of Colorado National Monument. The ride is approximately 6 miles and takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace.

From downtown Grand Junction, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Grand Valley Transit. Take the Line 1 (Blue Line) bus heading towards 24 Road. Get off at the 24 Road and Highway 50 stop. From there, it is about a 2-mile walk to the entrance of Colorado National Monument. Follow 24 Road south, then turn right onto Monument Rd and continue until you reach the park entrance. Check the Grand Valley Transit website for the current schedule and routes.

Head east on Colorado Ave until you reach 5th St. Turn left onto 5th St and continue north until you reach North Ave. Turn right onto North Ave, which will lead you towards Broadway. Continue on Broadway, which will turn into Monument Rd. Follow Monument Rd directly to the entrance of Colorado National Monument, which is located about 6 miles from downtown.
