If you're starting from Gunnison, CO, head south on US-50 E for about 20 miles until you reach CO-149. Turn left onto CO-149 and continue for approximately 30 miles until you reach Lake City. From Lake City, take County Road 30 (also known as the Lake Fork Road) for about 7 miles. Follow the road until you see signs for Old Mining Camp. The last few miles may be unpaved, so be cautious and ensure your vehicle is suitable for dirt roads.
