From the center of Ouray, head north on Main Street towards the Ouray County Courthouse. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with Highway 550. Turn right to head north on Highway 550. You will need to walk along the highway for about 13 miles. Enjoy the scenic views as you walk along the river and through the mountains.
