Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the center of Monument, at the intersection of Beacon Lite Rd and Front St. Head north on Beacon Lite Rd towards the Monument Marketplace. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Highway 105 (also known as Second St). Cross over to the other side of the highway, heading east. After crossing, take a left (north) to stay on Highway 105. Continue walking along Highway 105 for about 1.5 miles. You will then see the entrance to the Western Museum of Mining & Industry on your right at 225 North Gate Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80921.

    From Monument, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Monument Marketplace. Take the Mountain Metro Route 25 bus heading south towards Colorado Springs. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the Northgate Blvd stop.
