Getting There

  • Walking

    From Main Street in Breckenridge, walk east on Adams Avenue for approximately four blocks. Turn right onto High Street and walk south for one block. Carter Park will be on your left, adjacent to Breckenridge Elementary School. The walk is generally flat and takes about 10-15 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    The Breckenridge Free Ride bus offers several routes that stop near Carter Park. Check the Free Ride bus schedule for the closest stop and arrival times. From the bus stop, walk south on High Street to reach the park. There is no cost to ride the Breckenridge Free Ride.

  • Driving

    From Main Street, drive east on Adams Avenue and turn right onto High Street. Carter Park will be on the left. Limited parking is available next to the dog park and tennis courts. Parking is free. Be aware that parking can fill up quickly, especially during peak seasons and events.
