    If you are in downtown Bridgeport, start at the Bridgeport Train Station located at 525 Water St. Head north on Water St toward the intersection with Main St. Turn right onto Main St and walk about a quarter-mile. The Barnum Museum will be on your left at 820 Main St. Look for the large sign and entrance.

    Public Transit (Bus)

    From the downtown area, locate the nearest bus stop for the Greater Bridgeport Transit (GBT). Take the GBT bus number 3 or 4 from the downtown transit hub. The bus will take you along Main St. Get off at the stop closest to 820 Main St. The Barnum Museum is just a short walk from the bus stop.

    Bicycling

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program. Start from Seaside Park and head northeast on Seaview Ave. Continue on Seaview Ave until you reach the intersection with Main St. Turn right onto Main St and continue for about a mile.
