From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Metro-North Train Station located at 2 Railroad Ave. Purchase a ticket for the New Haven Line towards Grand Central Terminal. Board the train and travel for approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the Grand Central Terminal station. From there, transfer to the 4, 5, 6, or 7 subway lines at Grand Central to reach the Lower Manhattan area. You will want to take the 6 train downtown and get off at the Bleecker St station. Once you exit the station, walk west on Bleecker St for about 10 minutes until you reach Mulberry St. Turn left onto Mulberry St and walk for about 5 minutes to arrive at The Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral at 263 Mulberry St.

From Greenwich, you can take the 10 bus from the Greenwich Bus Terminal, located at 10 Amogerone Crossway. Ride the bus for about 1 hour and 15 minutes until you reach the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From Port Authority, walk to 42nd St and take the 1 subway line downtown. Get off at the Christopher St station. Walk east on Christopher St until you reach Mulberry St, then turn right and walk south for about 5 minutes to reach The Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral at 263 Mulberry St.

Take the ferry from the Greenwich Ferry Terminal to New York City. This is a scenic route and may take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Manhattan Ferry Terminal, walk to the nearest subway station, which is the Wall St Station. From there, catch the 2 or 4 subway lines and travel to the Bleecker St station.
