    From downtown Mystic, head north on Route 27 (Greenmanville Avenue). The museum is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Look for the museum entrance on the right. Cross at the designated crosswalk to access the free parking lots.

  • Public Transport

    Take the Amtrak Northeast Regional train to Mystic Amtrak station. From the station, it is approximately a 7-minute walk to Mystic Seaport Museum. Head north on Route 27 (Greenmanville Avenue). The museum will be on your right. SEAT (Southeast Area Transit) also provides bus service to the Mystic area. Check their schedules for specific routes and stops.

  • Car

    From I-95, take Exit 90 and head south on Route 27 (Greenmanville Avenue). Mystic Seaport Museum will be on the right, approximately one mile from the exit. Free parking is available in the North and South parking lots across the street from the museum entrances. During peak season, a free shuttle service operates from the south parking lot to downtown Mystic. Note: During special events, parking may be limited. Follow signage and directions from parking staff.

  • Boat

    Mystic Seaport Museum has a marina for visitors arriving by boat. Contact the Dock Office for details and reservations. Alternatively, take the Mystic Seaport Express, a river shuttle service from downtown Mystic to the museum. The shuttle includes museum admission.
