Getting There

• Car

  Start from any location in Norwalk Islands and head towards the nearest major road. If you're near the shore, follow local roads leading to East Norwalk. You will want to navigate to the intersection of East Avenue and Route 1. Take Route 1 South towards South Norwalk. Continue on Route 1 for about 2 miles before taking a left onto Seaview Avenue. Follow Seaview Avenue until you reach the East Norwalk Boat Ramp. Park your car here (note that parking may incur a fee, typically around $10 for the day). From the boat ramp, you can hire a local boat service to take you to Penfield Reef Lighthouse, which is about 1.5 miles offshore.

  If you're using public transportation, start by finding a bus route that takes you to the South Norwalk train station (Metro-North). From there, take the train towards Grand Central Terminal and get off at the South Norwalk station. Once at South Norwalk, you can either walk to the East Norwalk Boat Ramp (approximately 1.5 miles) or take a taxi to the ramp. At the boat ramp, you can charter a local boat service to Penfield Reef Lighthouse.

  Once you arrive at the East Norwalk Boat Ramp, you will need to charter a boat to reach Penfield Reef Lighthouse.
