    Public Bus

    From Norwalk, head to the nearest bus stop that services the Connecticut Transit system. You can take the CT Transit bus route 9 or 10 towards the South Norwalk train station. Once you arrive at the South Norwalk station, transfer to the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) service towards Babylon. Disembark at the Great River station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Bayard Cutting Arboretum. Exit the station and head east on Montauk Highway until you reach the arboretum located at 440 Montauk Hwy.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Norwalk. Start your journey by heading east on Washington Street, then take a left onto East Avenue. Continue on East Avenue until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn right onto Route 1 South and follow it for about 2 miles. Then, turn left onto Montauk Highway (Route 27). Continue traveling east for about 3 miles, and you will find Bayard Cutting Arboretum on your right at 440 Montauk Hwy.

    Walking

    If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the Norwalk Green. Head east on West Avenue until it becomes East Avenue. Continue along East Avenue until you reach Route 1. Cross Route 1 and continue straight to Montauk Highway (Route 27). Turn left onto Montauk Highway and follow it for about 3 miles. The Bayard Cutting Arboretum will be on your right side at 440 Montauk Hwy.
