From the Norwalk Transit District, take the Route 7 bus towards Stamford. Get off at the Stop 'Norwalk Hospital'. From there, transfer to the NJ Transit bus 156 towards New York, and get off at 'Alpine, NJ'. The Palisades Interstate Park is a short walk from the bus stop. Head north on Closter Dock Road, and then take a left onto the entrance path of the park.

Start at the South Norwalk Train Station. Take the Metro-North New Haven Line train to Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Once there, transfer to the NJ Transit train to Hoboken. From Hoboken, take the NJ Transit bus 156 to Alpine, NJ. Disembark at the bus stop closest to the park entrance. Walk through the entrance of Palisades Interstate Park to start your adventure.
