    From Stamford, head to the Stamford Train Station. You can take the Metro-North New Haven Line train towards New Canaan. The trip takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the New Canaan Station. Once at the station, exit onto Elm Street.

    After exiting New Canaan Station, walk west on Elm Street. Continue straight until you reach Oenoke Ridge. Turn left onto Oenoke Ridge, and you will find the New Canaan Museum & Historical Society at 13 Oenoke Ridge, approximately a 15-minute walk from the station.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, you can take the CT Transit bus from Stamford to New Canaan. From Stamford, board the Route 41 or Route 2 bus heading towards New Canaan. The bus ride takes about 25-30 minutes. Make sure to get off at the New Canaan Town Hall stop, and from there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the museum by heading east on Main Street and then turning left onto Oenoke Ridge.
