From Enfield's town center, head east on Hazard Avenue (Route 190). Continue for approximately 4 miles. The entrance to Scantic River State Park East will be on your left, with a small parking lot available near 640 Hazard Ave. Parking is free, but can be limited during peak times.
Walking
If you are near the Hazardville section of Enfield, you can walk along Hazard Avenue (Route 190) towards the east. Be cautious of traffic as you make your way to the park entrance, approximately 4 miles from the town center. Look for the park sign and parking area on the left. There are no sidewalks for a portion of the walk.
