If you are driving, start from the main village of Arutanga. Head south on the main road (Aitutaki Main Road) towards Ureia. Continue straight for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Paparei Beachfront Bungalows along the way. The bungalows are located directly on the beachfront, so look for the entrance on your right just before reaching Ureia Beach.

If you're using public transportation, you can catch a local bus from the main village of Arutanga. Buses run regularly and will take you along the main road towards Ureia. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Paparei Beachfront Bungalows. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, and the fare is usually around 5 NZD. The bus will drop you off at the entrance to the bungalows, directly on Aitutaki Main Road.

For those staying nearby, you can take a scenic walk to Paparei Beachfront Bungalows. From Ureia Beach, head north along the coastline on Aitutaki Main Road. It’s a pleasant walk with beautiful views of the lagoon. It will take approximately 20 minutes to reach the bungalows from Ureia Beach.
