Getting There
Walking
Starting from the main beach area in Arorangi, head towards the main road (Ara Tapu). Walk in the direction of the Rarotonga International Airport. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with the Ara Metua road. Continue straight on Ara Tapu for another 5 minutes until you see the signs for Sunset Palms Rarotonga on the left side of the road.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Arorangi Beach. Cycle towards the Ara Tapu road and head towards the airport. Keep on Ara Tapu for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Ara Metua. Sunset Palms Rarotonga will be on your left after this intersection. It’s a scenic ride with beautiful views of the lagoon.
Public Bus
Catch a public bus from any stop in Arorangi heading towards the Airport route. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the Sunset Palms bus stop. The bus will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you disembark, walk back a short distance towards the Ara Tapu road and you will see Sunset Palms Rarotonga.
