Walking
Begin your journey at the center of Avarua, near the main bus stop. Head west on Ara Tapu (the main road). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the beach. At this intersection, turn left onto the road towards the beach. Follow this road for another 500 meters until you see signs directing you to Black Rock. As you approach, you will see a small path leading down to the rocks. Follow this path down to access the Black Rock area.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Avarua. Start at the rental shop and head west on Ara Tapu, cycling for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with the road towards the beach, turn left and continue for another 500 meters. Look for signs to Black Rock and take the path down to the rocks. The bike ride should take about 10-15 minutes.

Find the nearest bus stop in Avarua and take a bus heading towards the west side of the island. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the stop closest to Black Rock.
