Start from the center of Avarua, at the Avarua Market. Head east on Ara Tapu Road (the main road). Continue walking along Ara Tapu Road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. After approximately 20 minutes of walking, keep an eye out for the signs indicating the direction to Pa Monument. You should reach an intersection where you will see a small sign directing you towards the monument. Turn left onto a smaller road that leads towards the Pa Monument. Walk straight for another 500 meters until you reach the historical landmark, which will be on your right.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Avarua. Begin at the Avarua Market and head towards Ara Tapu Road. Follow the same route as the walking instructions. Cycling will allow you to cover the distance faster, taking about 10 minutes to reach the monument. Just ensure to ride safely and watch for traffic, especially when you approach the intersection where you will turn left towards Pa Monument.

While there is no direct bus service to Pa Monument, you can take a local bus from the Avarua Market towards Avatiu. Ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to the junction leading to Pa Monument. After getting off, continue walking east on Ara Tapu Road for about 500 meters, then follow the previous directions to turn left towards the monument.
