Walking
If you are starting from the center of Avarua, head south on Ara Tapu (the main road) towards the Avatiu area. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Avatiu Harbour. At this point, turn left onto Avatiu Road and follow it until you see a sign for the Te Rua Manga trailhead on your right. The trailhead is well-marked, and you can start your hike from there.
