Walking
From the Avarua town center, head east on Ara Tapu (the main road). Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Vakatini Road. Turn left onto Vakatini Road, and continue walking for another 5 minutes. Tuakata Cafe will be on your right, located on the corner of Vakatini Road and Tutakimoa Tapere.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Avarua town center and ride east on Ara Tapu for approximately 10 minutes. At the intersection with Vakatini Road, take a left turn. Continue cycling for about 5 minutes, and you will find Tuakata Cafe on your right at the corner of Vakatini Road and Tutakimoa Tapere.
Public Transport
From Avarua town center, look for a local bus heading towards the East Coast. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to get off at Vakatini Road. After about 15 minutes, the bus will stop near the intersection of Vakatini Road and Tutakimoa Tapere. Once you get off, walk a short distance down Vakatini Road, and Tuakata Cafe will be on your right.
