From the center of Avatiu, make your way towards the Avatiu Harbour. As you approach the harbour, take the road that leads to the right, following the coastline. Continue walking along the road until you reach the intersection with Ara Tapu (the main road). Turn left onto Ara Tapu and follow it for about 2 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the Highland Paradise. Look for Maungaroa Drive on your right. Turn onto Maungaroa Drive and continue walking until you reach Highland Paradise, which is situated on your left.

Bicycle
If you're renting a bicycle, you can follow the same route as for walking. Start from the center of Avatiu and head towards the Avatiu Harbour. When you reach the harbour, take the coastal road to the right. Continue until you reach the intersection with Ara Tapu. Turn left onto Ara Tapu and bike for about 2 kilometers. You'll see local shops and cafes along the way. Look for Maungaroa Drive and take a right turn. Follow Maungaroa Drive until you arrive at Highland Paradise on your left.
