Walking
Starting from the Avatiu Harbour, head southeast along the waterfront pathway. Continue walking until you reach the main road, Ara Tapu. Turn right onto Ara Tapu and walk for about 10 minutes. You will pass by a few small shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing to historical landmarks. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto the road leading to Avarua. After about 5 minutes, look for the sign indicating Pa Monument on your right. Follow the path leading uphill where you'll find the monument.
Walking
If you are starting from the Avatiu Market, exit the market and head towards the main road. Turn left onto Ara Tapu and walk for approximately 15 minutes. You’ll pass several local shops. Look for the directional signs to Pa Monument as you approach Avarua. Once you reach the intersection, turn right and continue for another 5 minutes until you see Pa Monument on your left. There will be a small path leading up to the monument.

From the Avatiu Post Office, head south towards the main road. Turn right onto Ara Tapu and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You’ll notice the local scenery and may see some friendly locals. Once you reach the intersection, make a left turn towards Avarua. Walk for about 5 more minutes, and you will find Pa Monument on your right, accessible via a small path.
