Getting There

Walking
From Ngatangiia Beach, walk east along the shoreline, past the Ngatangiia Market. Continue until the end of the beach, where you'll find a sign for Tamaariki Drive. Turn left onto Tamaariki Drive and walk for about 10 minutes. Ariki Bungalows will be on your left, just before the intersection with Avana Road. There are no costs associated with walking.

From Avarua, take either the Clockwise or Anti-Clockwise bus. The bus ride to Ngatangiia takes approximately 11 minutes. Get off the bus near Avana Waterfront Apartments and walk along Tamaariki Drive. Ariki Bungalows will be on your right. Bus fare is approximately NZ$3-13. Buses operate regularly throughout the day.
