From Avarua, the main town on Rarotonga, the Clockwise bus will take you directly to Muri Beach. Buses depart from the Paradise Inn in Avarua every 30 minutes. The ride to Muri Beach takes approximately 15 minutes. A single fare costs between $3 and $12 NZD.
Taxi

Taxis are readily available from anywhere on Rarotonga. A taxi from Avarua to Muri Beach will cost approximately $19-$23 NZD and take about 12 minutes. From the Rarotonga Airport (RAR) to Muri Beach will cost around $26-$32 NZD and take about 17 minutes. Taxis are available 24/7.
