Car
From Arenal Volcano National Park, head northeast on Route 142 towards La Fortuna. After approximately 14 km, merge onto Route 35 towards San Carlos. Continue on Route 35 for about 60 km until you reach the intersection with Route 4. Turn left onto Route 4 and drive for about 30 km. Follow the signs to Caño Negro and you will arrive at Refugio de Vida Silvestre Caño Negro, located at Caño Negro Los Chiles Alajuela, 21402.
