If you are driving from Puerto Viejo, head north on Route 36. Follow it until you reach Route 32, then take a left turn onto Route 32 towards Guapiles. Continue on Route 32 until you reach the junction for Route 4 towards La Fortuna. Proceed on Route 4 until you reach the town of Tilarán. From Tilarán, take Route 142 towards Cañas. After Cañas, continue on Route 1 until you reach the turn-off for Route 21 towards Playa El Jobo. Follow Route 21 until you reach your destination at Playa El Jobo. Be sure to have cash for gas and snacks along the way.
