Car
From Corcovado National Park, head towards Puerto Jiménez. Once you reach Puerto Jiménez, take Route 245 towards the town of Sierpe, which is approximately 30 kilometers away. Follow the road signs to Sierpe, and upon reaching the town, continue following the signs for Humedal Nacional Térraba Sierpe. The wetland is located just outside Sierpe, and you can park your vehicle at designated parking areas nearby. Please note that the roads can be rough in some sections, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

From Corcovado National Park, you can take a bus from Puerto Jiménez to Sierpe. Buses typically leave several times a day, but it's advisable to check the schedule in advance as times may vary. The journey will take about 30 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive in Sierpe, you can walk or take a taxi to the entrance of Humedal Nacional Térraba Sierpe, which is a short distance away. Make sure to have small change for the bus fare, which is usually around 1,500 to 2,000 colones.
