Walking
From the center of La Fortuna, head south on Avenida 1 until you reach the main intersection with Avenida 4. Turn left onto Avenida 4 and continue walking until you reach the main bus terminal on your right. The bus terminal is approximately a 10-minute walk from the center.

At the bus terminal, look for buses heading towards Río Fortuna or El Castillo. Purchase a ticket to Río Fortuna, and board the bus. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Be sure to inform the driver that you want to stop at El Salto.

Walking
Once you arrive in Río Fortuna, get off the bus at the main stop. From there, continue walking down the road (F954) in the direction of the river. Follow the path along the riverbank until you see signs for El Salto. The walk will take about 15-20 minutes.

Final Approach
As you approach El Salto, you will notice a small trail that leads down to the swing area. Follow the trail down, and you will arrive at the popular rope swing spot where you can enjoy the natural beauty and take a dip in the water.
