Walking
From the center of La Fortuna, head south on Avenida 1 (the main road). Walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Route 142 (the road to San Ramón). Turn left onto Route 142 and continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see signs for Finca La Esperanza along the way. Keep an eye out for the entrance on your right. It’s located in San Juan, Provincia de Alajuela, San Isidro.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in La Fortuna. Start from the main square and ride south on Avenida 1 for about 1 kilometer. At the intersection with Route 142, turn left. Continue on Route 142 for around 2 kilometers. Look for signage indicating Finca La Esperanza on your right. The ride offers scenic views, so take your time and enjoy the journey.

Walk to the La Fortuna bus terminal located near the central park. Take a bus heading towards San Ramón and inform the driver that you want to get off at San Isidro.
