If you are driving, start from the center of Monteverde. Head southwest on the main road (Carr. a Reserva de Monteverde) for about 3 kilometers. Follow the signs for Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve. The entrance to Monteverde Reserve will be on your left. Parking is available on site, and there may be a small fee for parking.

From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the entrance.

If you are staying nearby, you can walk to the entrance. From the main area of Monteverde, head towards Carr. a Reserva de Monteverde and continue walking for about 30 minutes. The entrance will be on your left. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path may be uneven.
