From the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve entrance, walk south on Route 606 toward Santa Elena. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers (20 minutes), passing local shops and restaurants. Reserva Aguti will be on your way. There is no cost for walking.

From Santa Elena, taxis are readily available. A taxi to Reserva Aguti will cost between $5 and $20, depending on the distance. Taxis only accept cash in USD or Colones. There is no Uber in Monteverde.
