Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, head east on the main road (Route 606) towards the town of Santa Elena. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 601. Turn right onto Route 601 and walk for about 1.2 kilometers until you see the sign for Historias Lodge on your left. The lodge is located at 857M+P25, which is just off the main road.

Take a local bus from the Santa Elena bus station that is heading towards Monteverde. Inform the driver that you are going to Historias Lodge. The bus will stop at various points along Route 601. You will want to get off once the bus reaches the area near 857M+P25. From there, you may need to walk a short distance to the lodge, which should be visible from the road.
