If you are driving from Monteverde Cloud Forest, take Route 606 towards the town of Santa Elena. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Route 1 (Interamericana). Turn left onto Route 1 and drive for about 35 km. Look for signs for Playa Rocas. The destination is located near Hacienda Santa Elena, and you will find it on your right. There is limited parking available nearby.

To reach Playa Rocas using public transportation, first take a bus from Monteverde to the town of Santa Elena. Buses run frequently, and the fare is usually around $3. Once you arrive in Santa Elena, you will need to catch a taxi or a local shuttle service to Playa Rocas. The taxi fare to Playa Rocas from Santa Elena is approximately $20, and the journey should take about 30 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand or ask the taxi driver to use the meter.
