If you are traveling by car from the main entrance of Santa Rosa National Park, head south on Route 21 towards the town of Liberia. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Take a right onto Route 1 towards La Cruz. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 35 kilometers, then take the exit for Route 160 towards Punta Manzanillo. Drive for about 10 kilometers until you reach Playa Manzanillo. Parking is available near the beach.

From Santa Rosa National Park, you can take a bus from Liberia to La Cruz. Board the bus at the Liberia bus station, which runs frequently throughout the day. The fare is usually around 1,500 CRC (Costa Rican Colones). After reaching La Cruz, transfer to a local bus that heads to Punta Manzanillo. The fare for this leg is typically around 1,000 CRC. Once you arrive in Punta Manzanillo, it's a short walk to Playa Manzanillo. Keep in mind that bus schedules may vary, so it's wise to check the latest times.
