    Start at the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve entrance. Head south on the main road (Calle) for about 1.5 kilometers. You'll pass a few small shops and restaurants. When you reach a fork in the road, take the right path towards Canitas. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach a small sign on your right indicating the trail to Cerro Pinocho. Follow the trail, which will lead you through beautiful forested areas. The trail is well-marked and takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the observation deck at Cerro Pinocho.

  • Taxi or Shuttle

    If you prefer not to walk, you can take a taxi or shuttle from your accommodation in Monteverde. Simply ask the driver to take you to Cerro Pinocho. Make sure to confirm that they know the location, as it may not be familiar to everyone. The ride should take about 15 minutes depending on traffic.
