Walking
If you're starting from the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, exit the reserve and turn left onto the main road (Route 606). Walk straight for about 2.5 km until you reach the main intersection at the center of Monteverde. Continue straight through the intersection, following the road signs towards Santa Elena. After approximately 1 km, you will pass the Frog Pond on your left. The Monteverde Lodge & Gardens is located 400 meters east from the Frog Pond. Look for the entrance on the right-hand side of the road.
