From the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, walk south on the main road until you reach the intersection with Calle 601. Continue straight until you see a sign for Barrio Bajo Rodriguez. Turn right onto this road. Proceed down the road until you reach a cement bridge. After crossing the bridge, look for signs indicating 'Casa de Manolo'. The Monteverde Forest Hideaway is located just after the bridge at the address 8587+X9W. Walking is a primary means of transportation for locals in Monteverde. Be aware that Monteverde is a hilly town with steep climbs. Comfortable hiking shoes are recommended.
